 Situation

The resort is about 50 minutes by car away from Lisbon, with comfortable access to the A8, exit Torres Vedras, directly at the beach. About 25 minutes by car away from the resort, at the end of the A8, Caldas da Rainha is situated, one of the most important well-being thermal of Portugal that brings rheumatism-suffering with its warm sulfur sources above all relief. Or just visit the local market, that takes place each Monday and admire the regional ceramics-work with its colourful, strong colours and sometimes a little rural-rough subjects.

  Óbidos, a little village, where the centuries seemes to pass without a trace, is just a few minutes by car away. The place is still surrounded by a perfectly intact city wall, and at the highest point you find a castle out of moorish time (about 1100 p. Chr.), renewed in the middle of last century to a luxurious Pousada. Enjoi the vie from the tower over Óbidos and environment.  Peniche, also attainable within a few minutes by car, is situated on a peninsula in the Atlantic and only connected through a natural sand dam with the mainland. The village is one of the most important harbour for fishing in the region.
